What Bookmaker Blog does

Sports betting rules are different in every country we cover. In Nigeria licences are issued by individual states. Kenya moved to a new regulator under the Gambling Control Act 2025. Colombia and Peru publish official lists of authorised websites. Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal channel betting through their national lotteries. A bookmaker that is legal in one country can be blocked in the next.

Our country guides explain, in plain language:

  • who licenses betting in your country and how to check that a site is legal;
  • which payment methods work locally, from M-Pesa and MTN MoMo to OXXO, PSE and Yape;
  • what taxes and fees you may pay on stakes or winnings;
  • where to get free help if betting stops being fun.

How we choose the bookmakers we list

We only list operators that hold a licence in the country the page is about. We copy bonus terms from the operator's own site and record the date we checked them. Bookmaker Blog earns a commission from some operators when readers sign up through our links. That is how the site is funded. It does not change the terms you receive. Read our affiliate disclosure for details.

18+ only. Betting is entertainment, not a way to earn money. Most bettors lose over time. Set a budget before you start and read our responsible gambling guide.
